while red is often associated with love and the heart, in this case it represents hatred. The map below represents a geographical distribution of web-based attacks on one of Israel’s major universities last week – the more red an area is, the higher the intensity of web attacks from it.

Israel was in the spotlight over the past week but not for the right reasons. Even though we were forced into this confrontation, we should have more accurately anticipated the virulance of this particular ‘trojan horse’ and been wise enough to avoid the tragic results that followed.

Getting back to the map below, it clearly shows that the need to protect oneself from malicious attacks is as great as ever; there is no doubt this map should concern us all – whoever we are and wherever we reside!
